Many thousands of threads (1) stabilize the walls of the TAMI dog box. The air pressure maintains the shape of the box and gives it a flexibility and springiness that we call the airbag function, which protects the dog in the event of a sudden braking, a sharp turn or, in the worst case scenario, a collision. If the dog is thrown against the wall of the dog crate, the inner wall gives way and the threads collapse like mini springs. They then return to their original shape and the box returns to its normal shape.
A special multi-layer lamination (2) creates a robust, airtight external wall. A special film protects the top PVC layer from UV radiation. There is no metal in the interior of the Tami dog crate, just a soft, skin- and fur-friendly protective surface. Of course, the dog box has fastening options to ensure it is securely anchored in the vehicle. The zipper can be blocked with an intelligent system so that the dog cannot get out from the inside. Another safety feature is the emergency exit. In the event of an accident, if the tailgate gets stuck on the car, this allows the dog to be freed from inside the vehicle. The Tami dog box is well ventilated thanks to a large mesh all around.

Air comfort ground cushioning
A stable, inflatable floor ensures perfect cushioning and pleasant compensation for every bump in the vehicle. In contrast to the cushioning/suspension of car seats, which is “normal” for vehicle occupants, dog boxes in the trunk are usually placed on a hard, unsprung trunk floor in the vehicle.
